Design System Greetz

Greetz was in the process of developing a new design system to give their website a fresh look and improve usability. Using this system, I created new components and redesigned existing ones to match the new style. Additionally, I designed new iterations in the old Greetz style for their current live website.
challenge.
The existing website faced several challenges that impacted the overall user experience. There was a clear lack of consistency throughout the user journey, causing confusion and frustration. Users encountered different experiences depending on the device they used, as the site was not optimized for mobile. Additionally, the interface lacked clarity and structure, largely because it did not follow content-first design principles, making it difficult for users to find what they needed easily.
results.
In this project, I was responsible for designing key components of the Breekz Design System, ensuring they were both functional and visually consistent. I worked closely with the Breekz engineering team, maintaining regular communication to align workflows and guarantee smooth collaboration. I wrote clear design specifications and explained these requirements to the developers to ensure accurate implementation. By conducting thorough quality checks and providing constructive feedback, I helped maintain the integrity of the design throughout development. I also coordinated with other designers to harmonize the system’s components and collaborated with external frontend teams to help shape the architecture of the Breekz Design System.
As a result, we delivered a cohesive and scalable design system that improved consistency across the website and enhanced the overall user experience. This laid the foundation for a more responsive, user-friendly site that adapts seamlessly across devices and simplifies future updates.
